Ψήφισμα της UIA για τη στήριξη των Ελληνικών Πανεπιστημίων

Tο ψήφισμα της UIA (ΙNTERNATIONAL UNION OF ARCHITECTS) για τη στήριξη των Ελληνικών Πανεπιστημίων.
Eχει μεγάλη σημασία και παγκόσμια ακτινοβολία δεδομένου ότι στην UIA είναι εγγεγραμμένα 125 κράτη και 1.500.000 αρχιτέκτονες.
Το ψήφισμα έγινε με πρωτοβουλία μέλους της Ριζοσπαστικής Πρωτοβουλίας Μηχανικών και του Συμβουλίου της UIA . Η κινητοποίηση όλων μας είναι απαραίτητη για να ανατραπούν τα σχέδια της κυβέρνησης που βάζουν λουκέτα στην Ανώτατη Εκπαίδευση . Πανεπιστήμια και Πολυτεχνεία πρέπει να στηριχθούν, να ενισχυθούν και να είναι στην πρώτη γραμμή για την ανασυγκρότηση της χώρας μας.

Ref : Your letter of October 17^th  regarding the Architectural Schools of Greek Universities

Thank you for the letter you send me on October 17^th  mentioning the various issues the Hellenic Section is exposed to concerning the bad situation faced by the greek universities. On behalf of the UIA, where the situation has been discussed with the Bureau members I hereby, as the UIA President express our strongest support the Hellenic Section of the UIA’s request.

Therefore we support the stand by the Architectural Schools of Greek Universities in their struggle to prevent the devaluing, as well as further degradation of architectural education in Greece in general, by displacing and discharging the Academic staff.

UIA reminds that the Architectural Education is an important investment in future for the Greek architects to export their skills. It is also important to preserve the solidarity in the effort to save great Greek historical and prestigious Academic Institutions of knowledge, scientific vanguard, innovation, research, democracy and dignity.

The UIA strongly supports the Greek schools of Architecture to apply for the UNESCO/UIA validation system
